AcrySof IQ ReSTOR Multifocal +4.0 D Add IOL (model SN6AD3) is an apodized diffractive, multifocal IOL with ultraviolet and blue light filtering capabilities. The anterior surface is designed with negative spherical aberration to compensate for the positive spherical aberration of the cornea. The pupil-adaptive optical design distributes light more evenly between the near and distance focal points in photopic conditions, favoring distance more as the pupil expands in mesopic conditions.
