The AcrySof IQ ReSTOR Multifocal +3.0 D Add IOL (models SN6AD1) is an apodized diffractive, multifocal IOL with ultraviolet and blue light filtering capabilities. The anterior surface is designed with negative spherical aberration to compensate for the positive spherical aberration of the cornea. The pupil-adaptive optical design optimize performance in all lighting conditions. The 9 diffractive steps are spaced closer together than the AcrySof IQ ReSTOR +2.5 D IOL and it has a 0.86 mm-diameter central diffractive zone dedicated 60% to the near focal point (40% to distance).
