Intelligent Retinal Imaging SystemsIRIS: Intelligent Retinal Imaging Systems provides cloud-based retinal screening in a primary care environment. An IRIS preventative screening for Diabetic Retinopathy is as simple and quick as taking a patient's blood pressure or stepping on a scale, and can be just as helpful to physicians in helping to detect eye disease or other disorders. The retina is a window into the body. Minute changes in the blood vessels of the retina can be early indicators of issues elsewhere.

- Screening time is 5-10 minutes
- Process: Provider prescribes IRIS screening to diabetic patients and the image is acquired by any member of provider staff; High-quality images sent to the cloud-based platform where they are enhanced to increase image quality and reduce errors; Images are read and graded by either the IRIS Reading Center or a local eye care provider of choice; Easy-to-understand report and associated discrete data returned securely to provider EMR within one business day
